I made the "Eugene Gochenour Family Quilt" for my father. The center photo is my parent's wedding picture. It also includes Dad's parent's wedding picture; his grandparents, siblings and our family; the house where he grew up (and I lived in for 10 years); his house in Clawson, Mich.; and the gas station his father built. My father was very moved by this quilt and shows it to everyone, taking it to New York State to show our relatives there. After I gave it to him, he started writing his autobiography. He is collecting photographs from his family to incorporate into his text. It is about 100 pages long--so far! Nancy Bekofske Lansing, MI
