I made this quilt for my mother using 6 generations of photographs of my family. Some of the pictures date back to when my family lived in Mexico My mother used to design and make wedding dresses for a living. As a child of about 9 my job was to do the bead work. I saved every piece of lace, buttons, and pieces of fabric form my grandmother’s dresses and handkerchiefs. These were all used in the quilt. Lucelva C. Davis
