This is only 1/3 of my stash and it's mostly garment fabric. It's stored floor to ceiling on 15" deep vinyl coated wire shelving along one of the 14' walls in my 6' x 14' walk-thru fabric storage room that I had added when we had our house built. (The other 14' wall is full of book cases that hold my sewing/quilting books and cookbooks.) The rest of my stash is quilting fabrics and it's threating to burst the seams of my 12' x 12' sewing room that has an 8' closet that is also full. Oh yeah....I also have an armoire in the guest room which is full. We travel all over the U.S. in our 38' motorhome for 5-6 months at a time each year. I get to visit quilt shops everywhere we go. Thankfully the queen size platform bed lifts up to expose lots of storage. My husband says that I look at storage capability in cubic inches versus square feet. He also says that he can tell when it's time to head home to unload when he starts to see fabric poking out from under the mattress. Dee Viera, FL
