Like so many people reacting to the horror of 9/11, I felt I had to "do something." This quilt was a result of that calling. Naturally, I used the Ami Simms photo transfer paper to include front pages from the country's newspapers. The red borders contain partial quotes from speeches made by the President post 9/11 which focus on patriotism, refection and hope. Naturally, the quilt is made from 100% cotton.
