One of the great joys of being a professional teacher on the quilting circuit is meeting the luminaries of the industry. I've long admired Diane Gaudynski for her exceptional machine quilting skills. After spending the day with her as an add-on to a recent teaching trip, I must say I if we lived any closer to one another we'd be dangerous. We had a blast together. Diane and I took over the classroom at Bigsby's Sewing Center where I got to stitch on a Bernina 640 at the elbow of the expert. I've long wanted to improve my machine quilting skills and now with the advice and encouragement Diane gave me, I already see an improvement. I'm psyched! If you EVER get a chance to take a workshop from Diane, RUN, don't walk. She is one of the premier quilters in the world and is an EXCELLENT and patient teacher. I learned a ton.
