First Workshop in Ami's "@ Home" Classroom Is A HIT!
Ten students from Flint Township (and beyond) attended the inaugural workshop at our house on Saturday. It was a wonderful day! "Stringed" blocks were popping up everywhere. I was so proud of my students, many of whom were first time quilters. Pictured above, Jeanne K. shows off her String Quilting prowess as Madison brings a student's fabric up to the ironing board for "Mommy" to press. The next offering in the "@ Home" Classroom is a Twisted Sisters workshop on May 17th. But don't get excited, the String Quilting workshop is the only one where I do all the ironing!

My Fruit Tart pattern is featured in Meg Cox's new book, The Quilter's Catalog: A Comprehensive Resource Guide. This is a 600-page reference guide to just about EVERYTHING quilt-y!

You Can't Do THIS —
With Just ANY Bobbin Holder!

That's right! Not only is this the best traveling bobbin holder there is, but you can use it to salt your margarita glasses too! (Remove bobbins. Sew responsibly.)

TWISTED SISTERS

What's the next best thing to taking a Twisted Sisters workshop with me? Watching me teach Kaye Wood how to make a Twisted Sisters quilt on her TV show. This DVD takes you through all the steps, plus you'll learn how to rotary cut with your "stupid" hand. You'll be slicing and dicing fabric in no time at all for one of the most fun quilts ever!

What's THIS?
It's RAG FUR made with bias strips of fabric sliced every ˝" and then sewn to a jacket base. It's what makes my Rag Fur Jacket the most fun garment you'll ever wear. It only takes about 45 minutes to cut all the fringe for an entire jacket, thanks to some pretty slick folding and rotary slicing techniques. You don't even have to sew it on straight.

Have A Barking Good Time!
Treat yourself to a block a month, but without the pressure. Pick up my Dog-Yeared Calendar Quilt pattern on CD for almost 35% off the regular retail price. Save 50% when you buy two. Instructions are for fusible applique, but you can use any method you like. Print off full-sized patterns and read the directions on your computer, or print those off as well. Whatever blows your skirt.

You Gotta Try Piping Hot Binding!
It's time to upgrade to AWESOME bindings. You won't believe how easy this is and how great it looks! Use Susan Cleveland's book and tool to insert narrow corded piping under your applied binding. Don't wait! Order one now! (Got a friend? Order two!)
