I was lucky enough to live in Italy when I was a kid, for several years, and have had the good fortune to return many times since. There’s more history in Italy than you can shake a stick at, the food is fabulous, and the people are wonderful. Of all the trips to Italy, this most recent one has been the most special. I spent 10 days with my daughter, just Jen and I, and two digital cameras. Between us we took over 1,100 pictures and handful of videos! No, you’re not going to see them all, but I will share some of the highlights. Before I start, please understand that travel decisions (where to go and what to do) are very personal. One person’s pleasure can be another’s torture, and returning to a place you’ve been many time before is different than going to a place for the first time. There’s no right or wrong way to have a vacation. On this trip our only agenda was to enjoy each other’s company by sharing the experience of travel.
