I attended the 10th annual "Lead In The Holidays Auction" benefiting Leader Dogs For The Blind on November 24th. This is the single largest event that benefits this fine charity and they broke all attendance records with over 900 guests. They also broke their record for the largest number of items auctioned, among which were nine of "our" quilts! Prices each quilt went for are only approximate at this time. I ran around as quickly as I could to see what the last bid was, but those Leader Dog Volunteers are fast and they grabbed the bidding sheets before I could write much down.
