This quilt was a joint venture of our quilt guild, Licking Valley Quilters. The quilt is 82" x 115" and contains 52 blocks of various size - 6 yards of flannel and 6 yards of backing and border. The quilt started with a contest our guild held to find the ugliest fat quarter. The voting awarded all the ugly fat quarters to the lucky winner, Sue. As luck had it, Sue became our Vice President the following year and gave the quarters back to each person in the guild along with contest instructions to make up the ugliest block they could come up with. That contest lead to the ugliest quilt you have ever seen...but kinda different for sure! We aren't sure where the quilt is going next - we are going to display it at our National Quilters Day Out event later in the month of March.
