I made this quilt for Kevin, the 3 year old grandson of my dear cousin, Rose. Rose's son (Kevin's father) died last year, at age 30 from leukemia. I wanted to do something more special than sending a basket of flowers to the funeral home -- decided that a quilt would be fun for Kevin. Besides the "regular" novelty fabric images, I included 2 special squares for Kevin - one with his full name, and one with a photo of him with his grandmother.
