Here is a picture of the quilt I made from your book ‘Picture Play Quilts.’ I made it for my 4 year old granddaughter, Kaiya, for Christmas 2006. She loves to play “I Spy” and the variations of the game in your book are a wonderful bonus. It was a difficult decision choosing from all the great designs in the book. Ultimately I chose Window on the World because it reminded me of the quilts I grew up with. My grandfather and my mother (as well as 4 of my aunts) all made quilts and almost exclusively the pattern they stitched was the Trip Around The World. We just had another granddaughter, Ava, born in September 2006 so all I have to do now is decide on which of your patterns in the book I will make for her. Thank you for a wonderful book.
