Here is the quilt we put together for my mom's 75th birthday a few years ago. Since Mom is a Big Time Chicago Cubs fan you'll see their colors (blue/red) and various squares honoring the Cubs. The highlight was being able to obtain the autograph of the player she liked the most. I don't know how she did it but immediately upon opening up the quilt she saw the autograph of her favorite player and shouted, "you got Mark Grace's autograph!!!!" The sashing features dachshunds representing her two "other daughters" who owned us when we were growing up and the one I had at the time of the party. Karen Moore Illinois
